Εθνοτικές Σπουδές

Το μάθημα προαπαιτεί γενικές γνώσεις γύρω από θέματα εθνοτικής ταυτότητας, ιστορία των μετακινήσεων πληθυσμών στην συγχρονη εποχή, ενδιαφέρον και ανοιχτή σκεψη για θέματα μετανάστευσης σε παγκόσμια κλίμακα.

Το μάθημα είναι διεπιστημονικό στην προσέγγιση. Οι φοιτητές/τριες θα πρέπει να μελετήσουν άρθρα και βιβλία που άπτονται της λογοτεχνίας,πολιτικών επιστημών, ανθρωπολογίας, κοινωνιολογίας, ιστορίας. Σκοπός μας είναι να μελετήσουμε τις έννοιες εθνισμός, διεθνισμός, εθνικισμός, διασπορά τις συγκλίσεις και τις αποκλήσεις τους. τα κείμενα αφορούν κυρίως αλλά όχι αποκλειστικά στις ΗΠΑ.
