The course is intended to students who expect their architectural education to benefit from a in-depth involvement with the visual arts, either in the field of a specific practice like painting, drawing, video, photography or in the filed of critique and intersection of art and architecture. Such students should already have taken advantage of the opportunity to get in contact with visual arts practice and the relevant theoretical issues during the first three years of their studies.
The idiosyncrasies of each student will be taken into consideration. The course will function as a place of meeting and encounter. It will require each student’s participation to discussions and their engagement to a personal artistic project. Such project might either focus on the production of a “coherent visual product”, or invest to a multifaceted research process
