Learning Outcomes
The introduction to the scientific field of design and optimization of process systems and energy conversion systems. The aim is the introduction to design methodologies for the economic evaluation of design alternatives, the optimization and the control of processes for the satisfaction of product and process specifications. Furthermore, a thorough introduction to modeling and optimization techniques for the facilitation of the design procedure.
