Prerequisites
General Prerequisites
Knowledge on Structural Analysis, Knowledge on Strength of Materials. Design of Steel Structures according to Eurocode 3.
Learning Outcomes
In the framework of this course, the students are expected to: 1) Be able to identify an appropriate connection/joint type from the list of available typical cases -if possible - and to be able to select all design parameters and implement the strength verifiquations required. 2) Be able to rationally develop novel joint arrangements. 3) Be able to use effectively related modern software.
