Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction. The satellite global positioning system GPS. Applications of GPS in civil engineering. 3D systems in identifying points in space and their application to deformations measurements and high precision alignments. Robotic deformations monitoring systems in landslides. Videometric methods for detecting deformations in civil engineering projects and industrial installations. Measurements and analysis of ground vibration concerning engineering works. Mobile mapping. Systems of combined management of descriptive and geodetic information and their applications.
