Course Content (Syllabus)
Week 1: Introduction to the course structure. Week 2: The concept of entrepreneurship , Technology - Innovation - Entrepreneurship. The profile of the modern businessman. Week 3: Companies based οn innovation and new technologies. Supporting institutions of business activities. Week 4: Basic Principles of Management for SMEs . Decision making, planning, organization, management, control . Week 5: Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship. Case Studies in Social Entrepreneurship. Week 6: Basic Principles of Marketing for SMEs. Evaluating the external/internal business environment - SWOT Analysis. Week 7: Corporate Finance. Evaluation of Investment Projects. Week 8 : Financial Analysis and Accounting System. Plan of investment. Week 9: Prepare a Business Plan using business planning software. Weeks 10-12: Exercises on the preparation of a business plan with the use of business planning software. Week 13: Visits to businesses.
