Course Content (Syllabus)
Bi-, oligo- and poly-nuclear complexes. Synthesis and applications. Silicon chemistry. Organosilicon compounds, synthetic methods of organosilanes. Silanols, siloxanes, silicones and applications. Main characteristics of main group elements. Periodical properties of p elements and ligation affinity. Structural architectures of p metals/metalloids. Organometallic compounds, 18 electron rule. Alkyl and hydride complexes. Carbonyl and phosphine complexes. π-Complexes. Carbine and carbene complexes.
