Course Content (Syllabus)
Structure of the double layer in the absence and in the presence of specific adsorption, linear and spherical diffusion. Electrochemical techniques; Principles, instrumentation and applications of polarography, amperometry, potentiometry, coulometry, chronocoulometry, voltammetry (linear, pulse, cyclic and alternating current voltammetry) Chemically modified electrodes, ion selective electrodes and teitr applications in chemical analysis. Electrochemical detection in flow systems (high pressure liquid chromatography, flow injection analysis) Sample handling and sample preparation
