Learning Outcomes
Introduction to fundamentals of communication networks security, cryptography algorithms, internet security, wireless networks security. The student will acquire knowledge on the area of communication networks security. Practice in solving exercises based on taught theory. Practice via participation in laboratory exercises on communication networks security.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction to Cryptography, Symmetric Cryptographic Algorithms, Asymmetric Crypto-graphic Algorithms, Authentication, Digital Signatures, The "Kerberos" authentication sys-tem, Web Server Security, Web User Security, E-mail security, Secure Electronic Transac-tions, Firewalls, Wireless networks security.
