Learning Outcomes
Introduction to the research areas of Planning, Scheduling and Constraint Satisfaction. Acquiring basic knowledge in the above areas. Study of various algorithms, Acquiring skills for problem representation and solving. Use of integrated tools for representation, solving and studying.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course focuses on the following areas of Artificial Intelligence: Automated Planning, Scheduling and Constraint Satisfaction. It begins by introducing the above areas, then it analyzes the knowledge representation methods that facilitate problem formation and presents algorithms and methodologies for solving the problems. During the course practical applications of the theoretical notions are illustrated and a thorough presentation of the cooperation between the three areas are given.
