Learning Outcomes
The student learns how the european market must be structured and functioned based on the principals of EU Competition Law,as it is provided in the relevant european legislation and is applied by european cοurts and the other competent authorities.According to these principals each undertaking must act independently,avoiding collusions and concerted practices with competitors,and must not abuse any dominant position. It is also examined the subject of the mergers and the state aid.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course is dealing with anti-trust law based on art.101 to 109 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union. The following subjects are covered: -Anticompetitive agreements,decisions,concerted practices of the undertakings and relative exemptions. -Abuse of dominant position -Public monopolies -State aids -Application of art.101 and 102(Reg.1/2003) -Mergers(Reg.139/2004)
