Learning Outcomes
The multifaceted training and performance of students in theoretical and practical framework for the teaching process of the school in general and especially in the didactical models of religious education, so as students will be able to: •Strategically choose between different didactical strategies when planning a teaching, related to expected learning outcomes. • Gain familiarity with methodological tools, modern teaching methods and course design. • Use multimedia and modern technology in classroom after their training in the lab Education - Christian Education. The six-month Student Practice Programme at schools contributes to the achievement of this objective.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course includes general issues about Didactics of religious education in theory and practice. Postgraduate students learn how to investigate modern educational models. Using modern didactical methods they can effectively update their educational work. Also, this course investigates issues as the relationship between teacher and student, educational principles, methods and forms of teaching, the role of curricula and textbooks, the teaching aids and the evaluation of teaching. The course also includes modern types of teaching religious education, such as communication and teamwork, project method, Interdisciplinarity and interculturalism in religious education. Besides, the course analyzes the value of micro-teaching, the importance of the Student Practice Prorgamme and the significance of teacher training. Postgraduate students participate in the Students Practice Programme for the undergraduate students. This Programme includes: • Micro-teaching as training technique for postgraduate students • Selection of educational material • Planning of teaching • Cooperation with secondary and high schools By these actions postgraduate students learn about modern trends in Didactics of religious education 1.
