Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction to nanostructures, nanomaterials and soft matter. Modern techniques for the characterization of nanostructures and nanomaterials. Bulk phases vs. interfaces and interphases. Theory of wetting phenomena. Preparation and characterization of superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic surfaces. Introduction to biomimetic and supramolecular chemistry. Association colloids. Modern applications of nanomaterials and colloids and perspectives in soft matter developments and applications.
