Learning Outcomes
With the successful completion of the course, students will be able to teach tactic skills using paidagogical principls in basketball. They will be able to develop a coaching philosophy regarding coaching practice (scouting, players recruitment, bench behaviour, and perception of the game), to organize a game (referee, statistics, rules, secreterial support), to guide and psychologically prepare the athletess, to design training programs of physical fitness

Course Content (Syllabus)
Study, teaching and application of tactical issues in basketball (offencive and defencive tactic skills- man-to-man, zone, mixed defences, coping with pressing defences, special game situations). Coaching thinking, players utilization according to their abilities. Developing an individual coaching philosophy, scouting, recruiting players, bench behaviour and game perception. Issues regarding the organization of turn overs (school games etc), referee, statistics, scouting, rules, game sheets, psychological preparation of the players, designing physical fitness training programs
