• Adequate knowledge of the main representatives of the german romantic movement and their writings • Familiarization of students with the terms, theoretical concepts, motives and techniques of the european romanticism • Practice the individual bibliographical research, structuring and performance of an oral presentation and a written paper. • Practice academic writing by submitting a paper

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course provides students with an advanced introduction to the european romanticism: the study of different kind of texts (non-fiction prose, short fiction, novels, poetry and drama) will give the students the opportunity to get acquainted with terms, theoretical concepts, motives and techniques of this important literary movement. The course will be held in Greek
