Learning Outcomes
The learning objectives are to pore over students in the scientific field of casting of various materials, material removal and plastic deformation processes. Also, the aim of this course is to introduce basic metrological concepts.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Casting procedures and casting materials, Sintering. Manufacturing. Cutting, material separation processes, cutting tools and machines. Cutting with tools of predefined cutting edge geometry as turning, milling, drilling etc. Cutting with tools of undefined cutting edge geometry, grinding, lapping, polishing, etc. Electro erosion, laser cutting. Manufacturing by material plastic deformation, forging, rolling, drawing, sheet plastic deformation, bending, deep drawing, etc. Introduction into measurement and instruments.
