Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course students will: 1. know the basics of Taekwondo, 2. know the basic techniques of Taekwondo, 3. know the regulations of Taekwondo, 4. know the basic rules of arbitration of Taekwondo.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Theory 1. History and development of TKD internationally and in Greece. 2. Basic theoretical knowledge of TKD. Practice 1. Basic techniques. 2. Combinations of techniques. 3. Kinesiology (basic attack gaits and counter-attack). 4. Arbitration-racing regulations. 5. Basic defensive techniques with hands (block). 6. 1st predefined combination techniques (1st Poomsae). 7. 2nd predefined combination techniques (2nd Poomsae).

Description
Theory Oral examination on the theoretical material of the semester. Practice 1. Demonstration of the combination of predetermined techniques (in Poomsae 1st & 2nd). 2. Demonstration of combinations of techniques. Prerequisite for success in the examination is at least the grade 5 overall in theory and practice.
