Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction to intermedia and open form. Historic & stylistic overview of post-1950 repertoire. Extended notation & extended techniques. Αctive Listening. Constructing events & performance situations. Verbal, graphic and intermedia scores. Methods for analysing & interpreting intermedia. Realizing & composing original intermedia works using still & moving images, various types of text, bodily movement & sound.

Description
During the course students construct an individual portfolio of analyses & style exercises (70%), which they submit in its final form alongside a 2000-word essay (30%) at the end of the semester.
