Through the attendance of this course, students will have the following capacities: 1. they know the methodology of chanting in a choir 2. they have the ability of reading a byzantine musical score 3. they know basic elements of the byzantine repertory

Course Content (Syllabus)
1. Indroducing and teaching some basic musical works of the Byzantine and Post Byzantine composers 2. Choral chanting of these works 3. Emphasize to the artistic performance and practical training in the individual elements 4. Organization of appropriate festivals in which we chant byzantine music
