Understanding basic statistical concepts and methods of descriptive statistics, probability theory, distributions and sampling. Development of statistical thinking and data analysis skills. Introduction to SPSS statistical software. Relationships between two Variables. Applications to economics and business.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Descriptive Statistics: presentation of data, descriptive measures. Introduction to Probability Theory, conditional probability, stochastic independence. Random variables, univariate discrete and continuous distributions. Sampling methods and sampling distributions.
