After succesful completion of this class, thw students will be able to:
- understand the methodology of experimental classroom design
- design their own experiments
- analyse the results of classroom experiments
- compare their results with economic theory and practice
- understand the role of economics as a discipline in behavioral sciences
- understand the functioning of markets and firms, through active participation as decision makers in various classroom experiments
Course Content (Syllabus)
Students will be asked to participate in a series of experiments as decision makers. There will be statistical analysis of experemental data and presentation of the relevant theory. Comparison of experimental results with theory predictions. In particular

Week 03 : Experiment 02 The manager's contract, the principal-agent problem
Week 04 : Experiment 03 Demand and Supply, free market allocation of resources versus centralised allocation
Week 05 : Experiment 04 Auctions and asset markets
Week 06 : Experiment 05 Bargaining
Week 07 : Experiment 06 Coordination
Week 08 : Experiment 07 Industrial Organization
Week 09 : Experiment 09 Social Preferences, Altruism
