Learning Outcomes
After the successful completion of course, the student gets acquainted with the applications of Mathematical Methods in Physics applications and in particular with the solutions of differential equations, variational calculus and special functions.
Course Content (Syllabus)
Solutions of ordinary 2nd order differential equations with non constant coefficients, Frobenius method, orthogonal polynomials, Bessel functions.
