Course Content (Syllabus)
Study of the history of Old Testament interpretation from 2nd to 5th cent. Methodological issues. 1. Introductory session. Course description. Development and current situation on the field of the History of Biblical Interpretation. 2. Periods of interpretation of the Old Testament (intra-biblical hermeneutics, 2nd Temple, Qumran, apocalyptic literature). 3. Interpretation of the Old Testament in the Ν. Τestament I (Gospels) 4. Interpretation of the Old Testament in the Ν. Τestament II (St. Paul) 5. Interpretation of the Old Testament in the Ν. Τestament III (catholic epistles-Apocalypse) 6. Interpretation of the Old Testament in the 2-3rd cen. 7. Interpretation of the Old Testament in the 4-5th cen. I 8. Interpretation of the Old Testament in the 4-5th cen. II 9.
