Course Content (Syllabus)
The course will examine the progress of relations between Church and State since the byzantine Period until our day 1. Relations of Church and State during the era of the New Testament 2. Relations of Church and State during the Roman period 3. Relations of Church and State during the reign of Constantine the great 4. Relations of Church and State from the 4th to the 6th century. 5. Relations between Church and State during the reign of Justinian 6. Relations of Church and State from the 7th to the 9th century. 7. Relations of Church and State from the 9th to the 13th centuries. 8.
