Course Content (Syllabus)
Systematic presentation and analysis of the basic theological ideas and issues of the Old Testament that refer to the theology, anthropology, christology, soteriology, ecclesiology and eschatology of the Old Testament’s divine revelation. The aim is to get students acquainted to the theological thought of the Old Testament, the theological questions and religious conceptions of the world by ancient Israel and other cultures of the time, and their relation the theology of the New Testament and the dogmatic theology of the Church. a) Oral or written exam b) Research Paper with the possibility of improvement c) Optional assignment The final grade comes from the exam by 60% and the paper by 40%. One point is added to the final grade from the optional assignment. The examination can be repeated.
