Course Content (Syllabus)
Sheep and goat evolution. Adaptability, breed description, judging. Reproductive use of sheep and goats. Productive traits of sheep and goats (milk, meat, wool, hair, skins). Genetic improvement. Systems and conditions of management, housing and exploitation of sheep and goats. Organization and prospectives of small ruminant production in Greece.
