Learning Outcomes
Students would practice with the linguistic analysis and translation techniques applied to medieval Greek texts. They would get familiar with the special problems related to one of the four texts they should read. Finally, they would understand the basic notions and trends in Byzantine literature through the study of the history of this literature.

Course Content (Syllabus)
This course examines the history of medieval Greek Literature (A) and all the texts cited below, one of which is taught every semester. Α. History of Medieval Greek Literature H.
