Learning Outcomes
1. Understanding bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites that cause human infections per system, the clinical and laboratory diagnosis of these infections. 2. Familiarizing with literature search, writing comprehensive reviews, using electronic means for essay writing and their presentation in public.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Microbiology in clinical practice - laboratory abnormalities to infections - Introduction to clinical immunology - Fever of unknown origin - Gastrointestinal Infections - Urinary Tract Infections - Infections CNS - Respiratory Infections - Infections of genital system - Immune System and AIDS - Congenital viral infections, schizomykites and parasites - Laboratory investigation of viral hepatitis - Systemic fungal infections.
