The main objective of the course is the understanding, development and the connection of intelligent systems with robot controllers in order to achieve a specific automation task.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Definition and properties of intelligent systems. Artificial neural networks. Definitions and topologies (multi-layer Perceptron, RBF). Non real time learning algorithms (Backpropagation algorithm). Real time learning topologies, Real time learning algorithms. Introduction to the control of uncertain systems. Modeling and control for robotic arms. Non linear control. Impedance control. Adaptive Control. Passivity based control.
