Course Content (Syllabus)
Athleticism has penetrated in everyday life. Sport events are part of the television program. In this course, students will analyze the relationship between sports and the media and the role of sports in modern societies and in various fields, such as advertising, politics, sex, disability, etc. They will study issues regarding the historical development of sports and the athletic ideal, the Olympics, etc.
