Learning Outcomes
The succesfull completion of the course should allow the students: 1. To be able to evaluate and select - based on certain criteria - the appropriate construction equipment for use in different types of civil engineering projects. 2. To be able to evaluate the economic value and productivity of the available construction equipment during its life cycle.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course "Construction Equipment" is addressed to students of 7th semester of the Department of Civil Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and aims to provide familiarity with the subject of Construction Engineering by: 1. presentation of basic construction equipment and operation, 2. description and analysis of construction methods of simple and complex projects (bridges, tunnels), 3. the development of methodological Operation Analysis and examples of application.
