Course Content (Syllabus)
Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education. Educational policy and scientific foundation. Current conceptions of learning and teaching and their application in computational tools and network technology. Uses of the ICT tools, multimedia and the Internet. Uses of educational software. Issues of school laboratories. Design of educational software. Tools of implementation of educational material. Development of multimedia applications (standalone or web based). Applications of Internet in Education. Email. Web (WWW). The operation of the WWW server and the WWW client. The HTML 5.0 standard. Developments of WWW pages. Extensions of the WWW applicable in chemistry. Education via WWW. Databases of educational material. Distance Education.
