To develop an appreciation for the role of wildlife farming. To develop an understanding of modern wildlife farming issues. To develop a knowledge of the techniques useful for raising wildlife species. To lead discussions of possible consequences of hunting reserves and to support organizations responsible for wildlife farming.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Anatomy, physiology and embryology of birds. Incubation and rearing of game birds. Artificial propagation of pheasant, quail and partridge. Nutrition and diseases of game birds. Propagation of game mammals. Rearing and releasing techniques (pheasant, grey partridge, brown hare).
