Course Content (Syllabus)
Defining the field of Learning Disabilities on the basis of the theoretical approach of “ability-achievement discrepancy” and the pedagogical construction of response to intervention. Basic milestones in the development of the field, from foundation period to redefinition. Presentation of the most important research data from the fields of psychology, neurosciences and pedagogy. Special language disorders-dyslexia. Developmental process of the disorders.
