General Prerequisites
Students must have successfully completed the compulsory courses designated by the School for choosing the translation direction. Perfect knowledge of French language. Very good knowledge of the basic linguistic theoretical theories.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Study of the cultural and political dimension of the translation phenomenon. Emphasis is given on the cultural turn in Translation Studies. Furthermore are distinguished the levels in which culture and translation are involved (collective organization of the speech, text content, ethics translation).
