Learning Outcomes
• Basic knowledge acquisition in pedagogical and educational learning theories. • Development of familiarity with the teaching/learning of foreign languages-cultures terminology: general goal of teaching, specific or general objectives, concepts of Curricula as well as of the Cross Thematic Curriculum Framework (C.C.T. Framework) • Practice with applications of modern teaching approaches. • Development of general and language communication skills: applications, productive activities in the classroom.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course aims to familiarize the students with the concepts of Teaching of Living Languages putting special emphasis on French as a Foreign Language. A brief historical review of the methodological approaches is necessary before the application of modern pedagogical and educational teaching approaches, as those provided by the current Curricula and the Council of Europe.
