Course Content (Syllabus)
In this course, English IV, students familiarize themselves with news items as these were presented in popular newspapers (New York Times, the Age). The course focuses on both the form and content of the articles (the students taking the class are themselves students of another language, this case French and will be instructors of this language) but also focuses on the form and content of the articles by way of teaching students English. So the course casts the students in a dual role: that of teacher and student simultaneously.
