Learning Outcomes
The purpose of the course is to provide knowledge in the fields of financial analysis, organizational theory and civil engineering construction sites.
Upon completion of the educational process, students should be able to:
Analyze financial Reports of technical enterprises and to draw conclusions for the future development of their business
To organize in the best possible way the portfolio of technical enterprises
Suggest organizational structures for engineering firms, to produce organizational charts and to evaluate them
Design, Organize and allocate plant and equipment inside a construction site

Course Content (Syllabus)
Technical enterprises: business activities, business Economics, Balance Sheets - Ratios - Type of shares. Breakeven Points of Production.
Organizational Theory: Definition and Types of Organizations, Organizational Structures.
Segmentation: Simple organization, Organization during Operations. Organization at Headquarters. Organization in Product. Mitral organizations. Organization charts. Parameters defining organizational structure and selection criteria. Organizational structures and function of different types of technical operations. Organization examples of technical projects in various scales. Management theories. The project management processes, programs, portfolios. Models for optimization of management capacities. Management adequacy of technical companies.
Construction Site Management: Select position / location. Organization and site operation. Management of Building equipment. Management of worksite materials. Manage supply chains. Information systems in worksites.
