Learning Outcomes
The goal of this course is to provide on the one hand basic knowledge on law principles and rules governing the Greek and the Eiuropean societies and on the other hand to provide more detailed knowledge about the public procurement procedures governing the construction projects, the provision of services and the supply of goods. Furtheromore, knowledge about the legal protection of the bidders, the contract execution and the dispute resdolution among the awaeding authorities and the contractors. Upon completion of the course the students will be able to: 1. To understand the terms and concepts of a public procurement concerning a public works projects, a service or a goods' supply, to be able to comment on the procurement text and to identify possible irregularities 2. To better communicate with lawyers they cooperate with with the purpose to claim or execute a project or a service or to resolve a dispute 3. To have better knowledge of the legal issues raising during the process of implemeting a project or a service and to take all necessary actions for the avoidance of legal implications
