Learning Outcomes
The goal of this course is to provide knowledge about the management and development of Real Estate, as well as the existing legislation on Real Estate.
Upon the completion of the course, students should be able to:
1. Understand the concepts and the laws on the legal status of properties.
2. Distinguish the potential exploitation of Real Estate according to the given economic environment.
3. Proceed to estimation of property values.
4. Understand the structure and functioning of the National Cadaster.
5. Know the capabilities of Geographic Information Systems for Real Estate and facilities management.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Urban-spatial development planning. Methodological approach to planning.
National Cadastre (Legal ownership, co-ownership, titles of ownership, zoning, public property).
Activities that generate cadastral material (new village or city plans, private urbanization, land distribution, land reform, settlement transactions, etc.).
Restrictions on real estate (property values, taxation of real estate).
Property investment and Real Estate development (actors, roles, budget size and Internet use).
Property and Real Estate (Economic exploitation of land and building stock).
City branding and attractiveness of cities.
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in land management.
Building Information Systems.
Facility management systems.
