Course Content (Syllabus)
Males: 1. Handstand-straddle forward roll, Side scale, Cartwheel repetition (FE). 2. Backward roll through momentary handstand, Round off repetition (FE). 3. Forward uprise mount, Swings to support (PB). Swings, Backward hip circle (HB). 4. Pike inverted hang and swings, Kip to support (R). 5. Hecht leap to forward roll, Handspring (FE). 6. Forward scissors helping-exercises, Flank dismount (PH). 7. Upper arm kip, Shoulder stand, Forward roll (PB). 8. Handspring vault with mini trampoline (V). 9. Salto forward tucked (FE). 10. Kip to support, Underswing dismount (HB). 11. Swings and Salto backward piked dismount (R). Simple forward dismount ½ turn (PB). 12. Exercises repetition on vaulting (V) and Program composition on FE and R. 13. Exercises repetition and Program composition on PH, PB and HB. Females: 1. Forward and backward piked rolls, Side balance (FE). 2. Striding jump mount, Support with sraddled legs, Hip stand with tucked legs (BB). 3. Mount with jump on the low bar, Backward hip circle (UB). 4. Backward roll through momentary handstand, Handspring (FE). 5. Passing of the leg on the low bar, Pendulum swing with grip on the high bar (UB). 6. Backward rolling on the high bar, Forward rolling with turn 180º (UB). 7. Handspring vault with mini trampoline (V). 8. Deer jump, Scissors jump, Deep sitting on one leg to the balance with handstand (BB). 9. Salto forward tucked (FE). 10. Round off dismount (BB). 11. Student Assessment
Description
Final examinations include assessment of students in theory and practice. The assessment of the level of theoretical knowledge made orally to questions included in the syllabus of the semester. The practical part of the examination carried out by performing programs in three apparatus of gymnastics (floor exercises, vaulting and even an apparatus of free choice of students), including the exercises taught during the semester. Performing exercises in terms of technique evaluated with 8, and 2 points are given for the composition of the program. Regarding the Vaulting, each jump gets maximum 10 points. Each student is graded on the practical and the theoretical part of the course separately out of 10. The final score is the average of the practice and theory (TB = P + Th / 2).
