General Prerequisites
A key for understanding the course is the earlier teaching and appropriate knowledge of the Anatomy course conducted in two semesters and its goal is knowledge of musculoskeletal system in particular.
Learning Outcomes
A)After successful completion of the course, students must be familiar with kinesiology terminology and relation between theoretical anatomical knowledge and practice and B) be informed about practical application and system evaluation and motor conditions due to musculoskeletal disorders and about ways of intervening aiming at planning special exercise programs for improving functionality on the disabled , on trainees and on athletes thus achieving sport and exercise participation and maximization of athletic performance.

Course Content (Syllabus)
• Introduction in the course of Functional Anatomy, (purpose ,content ,definitions ,methods) • Kinesiology principles of the skeletal and muscle systems,(joint types and functional specificity) • Kinesiology of individual torso and upper limb muscles • Kinesiology of individual lower limb muscles • Kinesiology of upper limb joints-Syndesmology • Kinesiology of lower limb joints-Syndesmology • Functional Anatomy of the vertebral column-Syndesmology • Functional Anatomy of the pelvis-Syndesmology • Muscle synergy and antagonism during execution of specified sport activity • Functional Anatomy during kinesiology,(elective),of various sports (e.g soccer,swimming,volleyball,dancing,gymnastics etc) • The same thematics (educational unity) on different sports • The same thematics (educational unity) on different sports • Practical student evaluation (with main concepts repetition) and questionnaire on curriculum

Description
After relevant student update at the teaching onset of the course , during the exam period a written part will be held combined with an oral part requiring brief contribution , during which the examinee’s critical capacity is evaluated. Also , co evaluation of an elaborated written study from the course is performed.
