Learning Outcomes
The central objective of study is to obtain a sufficient understanding of French Theatre, through a historical journey based on the study of relevant texts, so as to be able to come close and recognize the peculiarities of French play narratives.

Course Content (Syllabus)
We study the French drama through the centuries with the literature genre as our axis and by combining the history of literature and poetry. It is about the historical journey of French Theatre designed to develop the sensitivity of students towards the peculiarities of the play narratives through the study of theatrical genres and tendencies and based on representative texts.

Student Assessment
The final evaluation regarding the achievement of the objectives takes place through a written exam (duration 2,5 hours). We also take into account the regular attendance and the participation of the students during the educational process.
