Course Content (Syllabus)
This course includes: exercises of oral expression and concentration, exercises of memory and of argumentation, exercises of transcription of recorded speeches, of note-taking, as well as vocabulary exercises; introduction to the basic techniques of consecutive interpreting. The oral introduction includes exercises of hearing, of comprehension, of interpretation and, eventually, of the rendering of spoken words, in other words, the reconstruction of a synthetic presentation that takes over the general structure of the speech which has been heard. This exercise requires in some cases preliminary terminology research that has to be done by the student.
