Prerequisites
General Prerequisites
The seminar aims at familiarizing students with biography and auto-biography as research methods in approaching and analyzing texts. Through this familiarity they will be able to understand the processes by which individuals construct their subjectivity and try to acquire a voice and talk about their public and private lives. Autobiographical research, which is part of the qualitative methods, is an organized linguistic event through which people try to communicate their experiences, they want to remember maybe how something happened in their life, how they experienced something and how they came to point now to constitute their subjectivity. In this way, students realize that the goal is not to collect quantitative data through research, but to examine and interpret a subject's experiences in order to interpret the way or ways in which subjects form an image of the subject. themselves.
