Upon completing the course, students will be able to: - understand the applications of ICT in Special Education - understand the use of Assistive Technologies - implement digital learning content through selected tools - design pedagogical activities which exploit New Technologies

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course focuses on new technologies for the education of students with disabilities and / or special educational needs, and includes topics such as accessibility, assistive technology, special educational software and hardware, web applications. The course also comprises a laboratory part, where students have the opportunity to get in touch with ICT tools for the design and implementation of educational activities related to special education.

Evaluation is based several individual reaction papers (40%) and the final examination, leading to 60% of the final grade.
