Learning Outcomes
Upon completing the course, students will be able to:
- understand the applications of ICT in Special Education
- understand the use of Assistive Technologies
- implement digital learning content through selected tools
- design pedagogical activities which exploit New Technologies
Course Content (Syllabus)
The course focuses on new technologies for the education of students with disabilities and / or special educational needs, and includes topics such as accessibility, assistive technology, special educational software and hardware, web applications. The course also comprises a laboratory part, where students have the opportunity to get in touch with ICT tools for the design and implementation of educational activities related to special education.
