Students at the end of the course will be able to: - Recognize the identity and particular linguistic characteristics of the sacred texts. - Understand the role of the language "sign" and the symbolic language in theological texts - Understand the role of the geographical and cultural environment in the formation of religious perceptions. - Understand the uniqueness of the original text. - Understand the problem of interpreting sacred texts.

Course Content (Syllabus)
In the course we study the geographical and cultural environment in which the two religions, the Christian and the Muslim, appeared, as well as the original linguistic form in which their sacred texts were recorded.
