Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to: 1) Recognize the importance of Mathematics in the world and understand how Mathematics can improve decisions and the understanding of Biological phenomena. 2) Obtain knowledge of and proficiency with a broad range of mathematical concepts and tools useful to Biological Sciences. 3) Develop critical thinking skills for enabling application Mathematics in Biological sciences.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Functions of one or more variables. Hyperbolic trigonometric functions. Sequences and their properties. Series. Recursive sequences. Sequences Newton, Fibonacci. Derivatives of functions of one variable. Integrals of functions of one variable. Numerical integration (trapezoidal, Simpson). Derivatives of functions of two and more variables. Multiple integrals. Matrices, Determinants, Linear Systems. Find the inverse of a square table. Combinatorics. Vector Analysis. Differential Equations (separated variables, linear, Homogeneous).
