Course Content (Syllabus)
Animal cell. Recombinant DNA technology. Applications of gene technology in farm animal reproduction. Gene polymorphisms. Effects of gene mutations in reproduction and reproductive parametrs. Fertility rate. Ovulation rate. Reproductive technologies for animal conservation. Embryo sexing. Cloning of farm animals. In vitro embryo production. Embryo transfer. Collection and evaluation of embryos. Cryopreservation of gametes and embryos.
