Introduction- Importance of plant disease diagnosis Symptoms and signs of plant diseases- Introduction to clinical diagnosis Clinical diagnosis-Collection of samples Laboratory diagnosis-Isolation of fungi and bacteria-Diagnosis of fungi based on their morphology Laboratory diagnosis-Virus detection based on bioassays and electron microscopy techniques Laboratory diagnosis-Serological assays Laboratory diagnosis-Molecular assays Laboratory diagnosis-New diagnostic methods Laboratory diagnosis-Applications of molecular methods for the detection of fungi Diagnosis of bacteria Application of the diagnostic procedure on representative plant diseases Diagnosis of the etiology of new diseases
